Spirit of Competition.  This unique set of players is competitive yet welcoming to all skills levels.  Young players learn strategy and offensive/defensive moves from players who have decades of experience.  Most players are proficient in either offense, defense, or goal keeping; however, there are opportunities to learn new skills from seasoned players. 

Spirit of Charity.  Team members are generous with their time and funds.  Many charitable organizations have benefitted from the generosity of the team:  deployed US Marines; people of Ukraine; local food drives; families of ailing team players; health organizations, local school events, . . . . 

Spirit of Volunteerism.  The responsibility for field maintenance, storing balls, maintaining equipment, and washing jerseys are assumed by team members.  Weekly dues pay for team jerseys, soccer balls, field flags, chalk for lines, and other equipment. 

Spirit of Camaraderie.  Team goals are tabulated just to encourage competitive energy, but the main goal is to have fun!  After each Sunday game, players and family members gather together at the Old World Restaurant to brag about their exploits on the field, to tell humorous stories, to support each other’s endeavors off the field, and to sing and cheer each other.  At the annual holiday event, recognition plaques are given for Most Goals, the Best Goal, the DoDo Strudel Award (most embarrassing play), and most important — The Spirit Award (for the most spirited support of the team). 

Spirit of Friendship:  Off the field, the team organizes fun events:  trips to Galaxy soccer games, a Red Bus tour of local beer bars, parties at the private homes, birthday celebrations at the bar,
